Seymour Hersh: US seeking excuse to attack Iran, has UK support

“Ten dead American soldiers and four burned trucks” – What it would take for the US to attack targets in Iran, according to a former US General.
According to the latest expose from US journalist Seymour Hersh, the United States is waiting for an excuse to attack. Amongst other revelations in this extensive article is the British desire for retribution againsy Iran over the Sailor crisis in March, and also, conflicts between Israel and the US over possible targets in Iran (whether to go after the Revolutionary Guards, accused by the US of meddling inside Iraq, or to focus on the nuclear facilities, seen as the primary threat by Israel). “The revised bombing plan “could work—if it’s in response to an Iranian attack,” the retired four-star general said. “The British may want to do it to get even, but the more reasonable people are saying, ‘Let’s do it if the Iranians stage a cross-border attack inside Iraq.’ It’s got to be ten dead American soldiers and four burned trucks.””
